Qualifications for Senior Estimators Highway & Bridge
Preparation of thorough, accurate and timely estimates for infrastructure sector projects in the $15M to $100M+ range, including the preparation of bid documents and the development of clear written proposals and correspondence. Yes we really need BIG project experience on this one !
Background must primarily be estimating heavy highway, road, bridge, infrastructure,
Review plans and specifications and ensure thorough and accurate take-off.
Contact sub-contractors, suppliers, specialty services and truckers for quotes.

Requirements for Senior Estimators for Underground Construction
GREAT relo packages are available.
BS Degree in construction Management or Civil Engineering is a BIG PLUS.
Minimum 8 years heavy civil construction experience.
Knowledge of bridges, heavy highway, earthwork, construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
Knowledge and understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
Demonstrated decision making skills and ability to work in high production environment with a Mechanical background.
Accuracy at all times, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
